Separation elements CC
The separation elements are intended for use as separators in chemical electrical supplies. The separation elements represent the tightly pressed uniform layer of ultra thin fibres. The separation elements are stable to the affects of acids, alkalis, solutions of salts, and alcohols; are diluted in chlorinated hydrocarbons, and ketones; are to a great extent hydrophilic. Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride is used in the production of separation elements.
The separation elements remain durable to the affects (within 10-15 years) of concentrated (up to 40%) alkalis in the presence of oxidants. The separation elements from chlorinated polyvinyl chloride can be applied at temperatures from -180°С up to +75°С.
On appearance, the separation element should represent a tight, not fleecy, fibrous layer, uniform to viewing in a passing light. There are no non-homogeneous inclusions of copper, silver, zinc, lead, that is guaranteed by the knowledge of fabrication. The conformity of separation elements to the above characteristics from the time of fabrication is guaranteed for a period of 1 year in the case of the observance of conditions of transportation and storage by the customer.
